People make the difference
Rembrandt Labels & Packaging invests in intake, training and work culture
Attracting new people to a manufacturing environment is no longer an easy task today. The challenges on the job market are great, and certainly in the graphics sector we notice that the image of our industry does not always evolve along with reality. Even at Rembrandt Labels & Packaging, this has become an important point of attention.
Yet we are not sitting still. On the contrary. In recent months we were proud to welcome quite a few new colleagues within our production department. A clear boost, which proves that our efforts are paying off.
Get rid of the corny image
The printing industry is too often associated with outdated techniques and repetitive work. In reality, the opposite is true. Our production sites are equipped with state-of-the-art machinery, digital printing technologies, automation and a strong quality-oriented process. Yet it is not easy to get that message to the general public.
That is why we are investing more and more in visibility: from a renewed approach at job fairs to active collaborations with schools and professional training programs. We want to show young people and those entering the workforce what is happening today in our production environment. And that is a lot.
Onboarding and training as key
Anyone starting at Rembrandt Labels & Packaging or elsewhere within Graphius Group enters a warm and people-oriented company. We believe in customized training, with patience, guidance and opportunities for growth. We have anchored that commitment in the Graphius Academy.
With this Academy, we offer motivated candidates without graphics experience a hands-on training program. In a combination of hands-on experience, mentoring and targeted training, they are trained to become fully-fledged machine operators or production workers. The emphasis is on learning by doing, with plenty of room for feedback and personal development.
A stimulating corporate culture
Training is one thing, but people stay mainly when they feel good about themselves. That's why we actively promote a positive corporate culture. We believe in respect, cooperation and giving responsibility. We give people the opportunity to make a real contribution, not only to the quality of the final product, but also to the success of the entire team.
There is a family atmosphere at Graphius Group: personal, involved and human. This is also what we want to make you feel at Rembrandt Labels & Packaging every day. Working in production may be demanding, but it is also very satisfying. You help build sustainable, innovative packaging for well-known brands, you learn, and you make a difference.
A new batch with a future
The recent influx of new colleagues is more than a figure: it is a tangible sign that our approach is working. It proves that there are still people who want to commit to a future in manufacturing, if only they are given the right framework, the right guidance and the right opportunities.
We continue to invest in people, in training, in working atmosphere and in communication. Because technology is important, but people still make the difference.
