Rembrandt Wins Audience Choice Award with Innovative Easyfill Pastry Box

Rembrandt Labels & Packaging won the People's Choice Award at the 2026 Packaging & Label Awards for its Easyfill pastry box, in the Innovative Packaging and Packaging Materials category.

The Easyfill is designed to make bakers' jobs easier. Thanks to the front opening, the cake slides easily into the box. The integrated closure eliminates the need for tape and saves store employees extra steps. The result? User-friendly packaging that makes a difference for both bakers and consumers.

From Easyfill to Easyfill 2.0

Even a good idea can be improved. That’s why Rembrandt developed an improved version of the original box. With Easyfill 2.0, the weight ratio between the lid and the base was adjusted to prevent the box from tipping over. In addition, an integrated logo clearly shows how the box can be easily opened. Using the cutouts on the side, the consumer gently pulls the flaps upward with two fingers, causing the lid to release.

Ease of use and a commitment to sustainability

The Easyfill is made of sturdy, moisture-resistant cardboard, printed with food-safe inks, and finished with a dispersion varnish. The integrated closure not only ensures ease of use but is also designed with efficient material processing and recyclability in mind.
